Convert a scheduled time

Enter the program’s UTC date and time to see when it occurs in your local time zone. The conversion uses daylight saving rules for the date you enter.

UTC → Your local time

Use HH:MM or HH:MM:SS. Example: 18:30 means 6:30 p.m. UTC. The date is the UTC calendar date.

Your local scheduled time

Use HH:MM or HH:MM:SS. Local time zone: Device time zone. Daylight saving rules follow the date entered.

Time around the world

Select a city to center the globe there.

Local time follows your device’s time zone and daylight saving rules. The cyan dot marks the representative city for your device’s time zone (for example, Denver for America/Denver), not your exact location. Select your highlighted city to return to it.

About the globe & sources

Calculated live daylight over static NASA composite imagery, not a live satellite feed. The day/night boundary uses the current instant worldwide; changing time zones changes the clock display. Clocks update every second and use your device’s clock. Solar equations: NOAA · Map: Natural Earth, public domain. NASA Blue Marble terrain (October 2004) · NASA Black Marble night lights (2016).

UTC uses the same time zone worldwide. Your local display follows your device’s time zone and adjusts for daylight saving time where observed. Both clocks use your device’s clock and update every second.
